I saw a friend after six months. Meantime, she had divorced and moved. During that time I followed up with her by phone until she sounded in one piece again and then gave her a break. After those six months, I had to go to her new hometown and decided to pay a visit. You can’t imagine my surprise, my jaw literally dropped… She was 40 pounds slimmer (those pregnancy pounds that seem to refuse to go after the delivery), bronzed and just beautiful. Of course I had to know! So I asked… Everything started walking. She was so upset and stressed out that she decided to walk one hour every morning. The first days, she was destroyed, but then things got easier. She discovered that those last years, she would chew or bite any snack around every time she wanted to slap her now ex. No ex around… no chewing! Yippie!! But it was not only that what made the miracle change… One day, a guy she had been crossing while walking for about a month approached and asked her out. He was not her type, she had always looked for testosterone macho men, and this one was not… Now, she was so fed up of the fight or flight behavior… that she decided to give it a try. After all, a new mistake is always better than an old one. Well, the guy ended up being amazing in bed. One of those rare animals that really seem to care; he was not happy if his woman is not satisfied and he really knew how her body worked. So THAT was the miracle going on… Here comes her recipe to be slim and beautiful: - A full life.
- Keep the slapping feelings around to the minimum.
- One hour walk every day.
- One hour of good sex, 3 nights a week.
She is looking GOOD! Grab her recipe if you can, I know… some of the ingredients are in short supply. ;) Her recipe tied up ideas that were floating for some time in my mind. To look good is the consequence of a fulfilling life and treat yourself right; not about the last hot make up, designer clothes or breast implant (even when some or all of those things are absolutely necessary!). From all the information and disinformation around, I recommend you to keep an eye on Andrea Albright (the girl on the left...yep! it is the same one).
Her proposal might not give you the results you see on her, but it will not hurt you in any way, and the more you are able to walk her path the better you are going to feel and look. What is it that she says? Basically that to be fat is a clever reaction of the body to keep the chemical shit out of the way and protect vital organs. From there she developed an eating and exercise plan that helps release the extra weight while keeping yourself healthy.
