That feeling grows until the ovule is releases and those three days of fertility... oh boy, we are beautiful. We are the center of all looks. There is something wonderful around us. Every woman is a goddess during those three days. Sexual attraction and sex are the best; of course you will get pregnant if you don't use any mechanical protection. You can count on that. And all this for a reason... have you seen something more wonderful, mysterious and closer to the essence of God than the creation of life?
When those three days go by and there is no baby... we get into a state of sadness... we cry for that baby that could have been and wasn't. Like after a catastrophe, we don't have patience for stupidity, for little talk (not even those we started some days before). We clean up, pick up and get ready to rebuild like after a natural catastrophe. Those days are powerful days. We close open subjects, finish projects, clean up the house and our souls. We cut relationships that don't work, we tell our boss or our other what they deserve...
And we get to the final cleansing and healing of the bleeding, take a couple of days out of the world and start all over again...
Or at least this is how it should be.
If you don't value and honor your cycles, you deny your condition of woman. And to deny being a woman doesn’t make us something else... makes us nothing.
I personally think that among all dangers around, one of the worst is the dullness and void that brings the pill and other chemical methods to play around with our hormones... to avoid ovulating takes away our essence and source of power.
To play with the menstrual cycle is as unnatural as changing the faces of the moon.
